The Rush Light fly reel encapsulates high quality, robustness, and an ultra-smooth Torque drag system that is sure to please. This high-value, mid-priced, large arbor reel encompasses all the advanced technology of the Torque, but also preserves the essence of the original Rush Series reels.
The Rush Series reels, first introduced in 2005, rapidly gained a loyal following among discerning anglers. In response to feedback from these anglers, in 2012, the reel's weight was reduced, and its appearance modified, incorporating some features of the revered OB reel. The porting pattern on the spool face was altered, and the back of the frame opened up to the recognized, open back, tri-spoke design.
These modifications not only reduced the weight and enhanced the appearance but also maintained the robustness for which the original Rush Series reels were appreciated. This durable construction is a prominent feature of the Rush Light. It can withstand repeated harsh use and continue to perform with flawless reliability. Whether it's the only reel you'll ever purchase, the reel you use for guiding clients, or one of many in the collection of the most dedicated anglers, the Rush Light does not disappoint in form or function.
Although the Rush Light maintains the traditional look and feel of the Rush, it minimizes the machining and handwork involved, keeping costs down. As a result, it delivers exceptional value to the customer, all the while preserving the quality that has been synonymous with the Galvan tradition since its inception. Whether you're reeling in large rainbows in Alaska or playing with goldens in the lower Sierra Nevadas, the Rush Light offers the perfect blend of quality, durability, and aesthetics.
Constructed with the same inner components, technical features, and materials for which the Torque Series reels are renowned, the Rush Light provides top-tier performance and reliability at a mid-range price.
