If you're looking for a bead with the heaviest weight to size ratio, look no further.  With tungsten being one of the densest metals for fly tying beads and less material is removed from the bead to accommodate hooks, these things will sink quicker than anything else out there! Tungsten is a better alternative for the environment compared to toxic materials such as lead.  These slotted beads will slide around the bend of any hook, and are heavier than countersunk beads because less metal has been removed. Great for tying nymph patterns, bead head streamers, and anything else that you need to sink fast.
