Recently, one our best customers introduced us to the maker of these stunning and unique bird-and-trout knives. We were smitten with their beauty, utility, and character.  These are not black-tie occasion knives, not collectors' bejeweled treasures (which we greatly admire, don't get me wrong), but instead they are hearty, rustic, totally hand-made, and, well, damn handsome knives if you ask me.   Michigan Stag Antler, hand forged high carbon tempered steel, with tapered tang.  The sheath is vegetable tanned leather exactly made for each knife, with brass hardware in the rivets and snap.  About as unique as it gets.

This most alluring knife features a smooth Michigan stag antler handle with brass accents and a decorative red enamel band at the base. The beautiful shape to the blade marries nicely with the sweep of the antler, and it all feels, well, just right in the hand. Hand stitched vegetable-tanned leather makes up the fitted sheath to be worn at the belt. The hardware features brass rivets and snap on the top cuff, with an extra long leather tongue for quick-release from the loop. This unique knife is polished and sharpened for ready use in the field and stream.
