A classic, understated, handsome box that is as timeless in its beauty as we could ever wish for.  Quartersawn White Oak makes a most unusual grain-- reminds us of corduroy with faint blonde hieroglyphs. We'll leave it to you to come up with your own ideas as you enjoy gazing at and holding this exquisite piece. Black Walnut makes the sides and the hand carved trout figure "Brown Beauty" in the carved oval inset.  Inside: ripple foam on one side, flat foam on the other.  Small brass cylinder hinges and inset magnet closure catch for cleanest of looks.  Signed on back lid, upper left.
Approximately 5 3/4 " long, 3 1/2" wide, 1 1/4" thick.
