Description   The undulating grain of this box is sweeping and grand and makes us us think of the shifting sands on the riverbeds of certain rivers above the 45th Parallel.  It also makes us think of some canyon walls on a certain road in New Mexico. Red Cedar sides seem to somehow underscore all our imaginings -- but maybe that's just us. Still, the hand-carved trout figure in Spalted Maple, "Rainbow Rising" in the carved oval inset doesn't disagree. Inside: ripple foam on one side, flat foam on the other.  Small brass cylinder hinges and inset magnet closure catch for cleanest of looks.  Signed on back lid, upper left.
