You know, it really doesn't get more American than this: the stately, near-gone American Elm, even-grained and true, with the classic Fiddleback Maple, bright and clear. Reminds us of how it all began, kinda. Oh, but it's a fly box, that's right. Topped with a handsome Black walnut hand-carved Trout ("Morning Brown") in the carved oval inset. This rare wood fly box is not about flash, it's about forever. Inside: ripple foam on one side, flat foam on the other. Small brass cylinder hinges and inset magnet closure catch for cleanest of looks. Signed on back lid, upper left. Approximately 4 1/2 " long, 3" wide, 1 1/4" thick.
