Our good friend Marsi Parker Darwin makes these exquisite and charming coaster sets for us, one at a time.  The designs are all original, the process is all "by hand." Each set is unique. Here's why we love them so much: they're not just "four coasters in a set" -- they are, when stacked up, panels that create a 3-dimensional scene.   Sun or moon high in the sky, for instance, on the bottom coaster; mountains or a distant tree-line on the next coaster; then perhaps your wading fisherman or woman casting on the next one, then perhaps some close-by trees or reeds, or rocks in the final "top" coaster.  Look closely at any of these sets and you'll see what we mean.  We never seem to have a lot in stock because they sell nicely when people see them and because they take a while to make, so if you see a set you like, it might be a good idea to buy it.  Marsi will also do custom designed sets if you shoot us an email at lauren@paintedtrout.com.
