Description   Most unusual for the pattern of its grain, the featured wood for this box comes from hand-selected Black Walnut Burl (from the forests of Northern Michigan).  The sides are made from quarter-sawn Sycamore.  Leaping trout of hand-carved birch fits neatly into oval inset in top. Inside: ripple foam on one side, flat foam on the other.  Small brass cylinder hinges and inset magnet closure catch for cleanest of looks.  Signed on back side, just above left hinge.
