Our favorite fly box and rod case maker is now making these lovely fishing nets for us.  This one features Florida Red Cedar in the handle, with Ash and Black Walnut making up the bow.  Notice the lovely contrasting butt end of the net handle and the contrasting hand-carved trout in the oval inset (much like what is featured on our Fly Boxes) Here is the medium size, which measures 20 3/4 inches long, with bow dimensions of  12 1/2 inches long by 8 3/4 inches wide.  Total weight is around 7 ounces tops.  Velcro dots on net and back of the handle allow for easy portage of the net while wearing it by keeping the bag out of the way.  You'll be happy to be stopped on the stream and asked where you got such a beautiful thing.
