What's Red Bay, you ask?  It's related to the Laurel (think "Bay Laurel") and isn't common in our repertoire of fly boxes, so this one's very special.  The grain and undulations in the wood of this box put us in mind of a seam in the current where the bugs will float, where the trout are waiting.  We'll leave you with that image before the giving last details, such as how it pairs so nicely with the Black Walnut sides, and the  hand-carved trout figure "Rainbow Riot" in the carved oval inset. Inside: ripple foam on one side, flat foam on the other.  Small brass cylinder hinges and inset magnet closure catch for cleanest of looks.  Signed on back lid, upper left.
Approximately 4 1/2 " long, 3" wide, 1 1/4" thick.
